"I had an amazing experience with David. He is very professional, caring and direct. He loves what he does, and it shows through his word and actions. Needless to say, by the time I found his store I had been to a couple other bridal boutiques within the dade and Broward counties. My experiences with them had me disheartened to the wedding dress shopping experence. Let me just say it wasn't the people except in one instance, but it's the fact that all the boutiques I went to had size 10 and under gowns in their showroom to try on. I'm a 16 and to not be able to try on anything but have a person hold a dress up to you for you to imagine what u look like in it was not a great feeling. David carries a line of gowns that is made for plus size women. He made me feel special from the moment we sat down to discuss what I was looking for in a gown all the way to the end of my appoinrment. The very first dress he picked I did not like on the hanger and he told me to trust him and try it on. I put the dress on and fell in love with how I looked and felt in the dress. That overwhelming euphoric feeling of happiness came over me and the tears came shortly after.this was my dress. It was the best time I had shopping. My mom and one of my bridesmaid was with me and they even thanked him for taking the time with me and making feel better about dress shopping. "Let
me just begin by saying that I had been dreading dress shopping for quite some
time. I am a plus sized girl and I was very self-conscious. I had put it off
until my friend recommended Brides of America, where she got her dress and had
a great experience. I went to see David last night with my cousin and
sisters-in-law. At first I was very nervous and apprehensive, but David was
BEYOND amazing. His professionalism, passion for what he does, and light
personality put me at ease in no time! I could not believe how confident and
beautiful he made me feel. I can honestly say that because of David, I found
THE dress! I absolutely LOVE it!!! David, I cannot thank you enough for
everything! I would recommend Brides of America to EVERYONE!!!! Don't think
about it.... just do it! You will not regret it!

"I was
a little nervous to begin the dress shopping process as I am a plus size bride
and very self conscious. I looked at dresses online and had a safe concept in
my head that I had envisioned for myself. My dress would be A-line with lace
and 3/4 length sleeves. Being a little over weight it seemed like a style that
would be flattering to my body type. I am literally shaped like a coke bottle
or even like the number 8 lol. Any how I had been to one store prior to going
to Brides of America and left feeling just ok with what I tried on. So at
Brides of America I met David. He sat down and took the time to learn a little
about me and my mom. He asked questions about the ceremony and reception venues
to get an idea of what look would look best for me on my day. He told me he
wouldn't let me buy a dress if I didn't absolutely love it, and he was very
sincere. So He pulled 3 dresses for me and I tried on all 3. I really liked the
second one I tried on so he had me get into it again and put the blusher, veil and
even gave me a prop bouquet to hold. He had me stare into the mirror and I knew
it was "the one", this beautiful ivory beaded lace strapless mermaid
gown. It was so not like anything I had pictured myself in. I had my Say Yes to
the Dress and David Tutera moment and didn't have to go to very far to
experience it. And more importantly the price was very reasonable. It was
great! Now with that said, I am not a crier and I don't warm up to people very
easily but I can say in all honesty David and his assistant Allison both won me
over and really made my experience a memorable one. I felt gorgeous and might
have shed a tear or two who knows lol but I had my moment. David and his staff
really know what they are doing. He wasn't just looking to make a sale he genuinely
loves what he does and wants you to feel nothing less than fabulous in the
dress you choose for your wedding day. Thank you David you made me a very happy
girl and made my experience one to remember."
