A Mixture of Fabrics & Accents Make the Most Beautiful Bridal Gowns

The type of fabric and accents chosen to create the most beautiful wedding dresses is very important to the design and final look of any bridal gown. Many of the most exquisite dresses combine different elements to create a uniquely fabulous overall look. Brides of America's racks are filled with amazing combinations that have created the most stunning bridal gowns we have ever seen.

This season, Morilee has masterfully integrated this mix and match type of look into their collections. This creates gowns that are truly works of fine art. The use of different types of fabrics along with intricate beading and delicate lace gives off a wonderful, three-dimensional look.

"I remember in the 80's," says David Abadi, Brides of America owner, "when designers did not use this mix and match style on gowns, but fashion changes every day. Right now this is the hottest look on the bridal market. I love it!"

Below we have provided a few examples of the marvelous combinations that we are seeing on wedding dresses this year. Each one creates a one-of-a-kind look that is simply breathtaking. These bridal gowns are sure to wow every single guest at your wedding.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but seeing these amazing wedding fashions in person is the very best way to truly appreciate their beauty. The Perfect Fabric for the Wedding Gown of Your Dreams

Wedding dresses come in every shape, size, fabric, and style imaginable.  You will find as many different dresses as there are different brides.  Our fabulous online wedding gown store would like to help you learn a little bit about the various types of dresses that you will find when you begin your search.  Today we will be focusing on the variety of fabrics that are available and which weddings they tend to go with best.

If you have had a chance to visit the best wedding dress store in Miami, you have gotten to see and feel all of the fabric choices available.  Lighter fabrics are there for warm-weather weddings, and of course the heavier fabrics are perfect for couples that choose to wed during colder seasons.  Textures also play a large part in the look and feel of the dress that you choose.

Chiffon is sheer and can be made of silk or rayon.  You will often find chiffon layered over another part of a dress.

Chiffon
Organza

Organza is also a sheer fabric.  You will find it made from either silk or rayon. It has a crisp, stiff finish, but with more flow than tulle.

Tulle is the fabric used for veils.  It is a thin netting made from silk, rayon, nylon, or acetate.  This is the same material that a little girl's adorable tutu would be made of.

Tulle
Satin

Satin is a shiny, soft fabric with a slippery texture.  It can be made from silk, or you can also find it in a silk and rayon blend.

Taffeta has a medium to light weight to it, and it is made out of acetate, nylon, rayon, or silk.  It's look and feel are both smooth and crisp.

Lace
Taffeta

Lace is an open-weave, ornamental fabric.  Is is often used as only one part of a dress, but if properly lined, the whole dress can be made of the elegant fabric.

Charmeuse is a soft, lightweight fabric made of silk or synthetic fibers.  It is drapable, and has a sheen to it, but not as shiny as satin.

If you are planning a wedding on a beach, chiffon, charmeuse, or organza might be the perfect fabrics to begin looking at.  A Spring or Summer ceremony in a garden might find a bride wearing tulle or organza.  Favorite fabrics for indoor weddings, such as in a church or a temple, tend to be silk, satin, taffeta, and lace.  Moving into Autumn, dresses made of organza, tulle, or chiffon are always popular picks.  Winter brides generally love to look at gowns made of satin and lace.

David Abadi, the owner of Brides of America, especially loves wedding gowns made with lace.  "I love the 50's couture look of it, the classic and timeless era of it.  I believe that lace will never go out of fashion."

Brides of America carries a beautiful assortment of Mori Lee wedding dresses. You are sure to find the perfect fabric for your special day at either our online store or our wedding dress store in Miami.  Let us guide you in picking out the most comfortable, flattering, special dress that was made just for you to get married in.
