What made you want to start WhereBridesGo.com?
"When Mike and I were planning our own wedding in 1999, the internet was nowhere close to what it is today. I remember browsing online using search engines like Mamma.com, Dogpile.com, and AskJeeves.com. Google was around, but it was in its infancy in terms of users.
There was really only one wedding planning web site at the time, that was the Knot. It was very frustrating trying to find wedding resources online in 1999 because the Knot was only major market focused back then. If I wanted a photographer in Denver, LA, or New York, no problem...but there were really no online resources for the Colorado Springs area. So... I decided to build something to fix this problem right after our wedding. We now have 27 sites in our WhereBridesGo.com network!"
What are your most popular items?
"Our best sellers are the personalized cake toppers. Many of them can be customized to match the bride's and groom's hair color, shoe color, sash color,etc... We also sell a lot of bridesmaid's gifts. You can find gifts for everyone related to the wedding: groomsmen, parents, flower girls, and more."

"Mike retired from the Air Force in 2009, where he had been for 24 years, and decided to come to work with me full-time on the business. The WhereBridesGo.com daily operations are run by my Mom and Step-Dad. They helped me build the business from the ground up and they care about each and every bride that comes to the site, personally handling every single detail of every single order. This is what really separates us from the hundreds of other wedding supply stores online today.
