More Amazing Wedding Proposal Stories

Valentine's Day is just a few short weeks away, so we're in an even more romantic mood around our Miami wedding dress store than usual.  This seems like the perfect time to lose ourselves in YouTube wedding proposal videos!  Our first wedding proposal blog featured a lot of great stories, and today we are adding more.

Ladies, Brides of America wants you to sit back, enjoy, and start daydreaming. Fellas, feel free to use all of these as inspiration if you are ready to pop the question!

Pitch Perfect

Office Romance

Monika and Tim had been working in the same office for a year when he finally asked her on a first date. Though it took him a long time to ask her out, he wasted no time with the marriage proposal.

From Tim: "We moved very quickly. After our second date, we were pretty much living together because we couldn't stand to be apart. After five weeks of dating, no one in our office knew that we were even seeing each other (it was against company policy).

One day we were in a staff meeting with our boss and about 30 other employees, I was giving a presentation using a slide projector, crunching numbers about a huge project we had coming up. As I was wrapping up the presentation, I said, 'I have one more thing.'

I flipped to the final slide and there it was for the whole office to see. The slide said, 'Monika, Will You Marry Me?'

She was so shocked that she almost fainted. After catching her breath, Monika accepted and we got married four months later."

She Thought He Was Getting The Gift

Romantic Deja Vu

"She's American. He's Irish. They met in Italy and started out as friends. Friends who liked each other A LOT. But after months of just friends, she thought she read the signals wrong, until one night at the bar he slipped her a napkin. 'I really like you,' he had written. Fast-forward four years and many international adventures later, and they are sitting at a bar in Berlin reminiscing. He pulls a napkin out of his pocket. She takes it, confused. 'Years ago I told you I liked you just like this. Now I'm asking: Will you marry me?' it read."

Very Crafty

    Vacation Surprise

"My fiancé proposed to me while we were on vacation in San Francisco and Napa Valley. While we were touring Sterling Vineyard, we went on a private walk amongst the grapes. It was gorgeous. He stopped and told me he had been having such a wonderful first half of our trip with me as his girlfriend. Then he knelt down on one knee and said he would love to spend the rest of it with me as his fiancée. I was so surprised that I had to ask him if I had said 'yes!' We've been together for five and a half years, and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together." —Selina Ray

Hopefully these stories made you smile and provided a little romantic incentive. Don't worry fellas, not all girls need a big production.  As long as it is sincere and special for the two of you, it is a perfect proposal.
